WELCOME - A message from the Founder...
Artificial intelligence is no longer a distant idea or a specialized technology reserved for laboratories and technology companies. It is becoming part of everyday life—shaping how people work, learn, create, communicate, make decisions, access services, and understand what is real.
That is why we created AI Era & Humanity.
This is a space for exploring the human impact of artificial intelligence: not only what AI can do, but what it is changing in the conditions of human life. The questions here are practical, personal, institutional, and deeply human. How will AI affect dignity, choice, privacy, learning, work, relationships, fairness, public trust, and the health of our shared environment?
The future of AI should not be decided only by the people who build it, fund it, or market it. It will also be shaped by the people who use it, live with its consequences, question its assumptions, and insist that human values remain present in the decisions surrounding it.
This project is not an AI-news feed. It will not chase every product release, model update, or dramatic headline. Instead, it will pause long enough to examine what matters beneath the noise: human agency, safety, data rights, fairness, transparency, meaningful oversight, public understanding, accountability, and sustainability.
The editorial work is informed by the ten principles in UNESCO’s Recommendation on the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence: proportionality and doing no harm; safety and security; privacy and data protection; inclusive and adaptive governance; accountability; transparency; human oversight; sustainability; awareness and literacy; and fairness and non-discrimination. These principles offer a practical way to examine AI without reducing the conversation to either hype or fear.
Each week, AI Era & Humanity will explore one of these lenses through the realities people recognize: a classroom, workplace, doctor’s office, family conversation, consumer decision, public service, creative project, or online interaction. Each article will consider both the personal experience of AI and the responsibility of the institutions that create, deploy, purchase, or govern it.
The aim is not to force one conclusion or require everyone to feel the same way about AI. This is a place for people who are enthusiastic, uncertain, concerned, curious, skeptical, hopeful, or all of those at once. It is possible to be open to innovation without being naïve about risk. It is possible to recognize real benefits while still protecting human dignity, judgment, accountability, and care.
AI is a tool, but it is also a mirror. It reflects the values, assumptions, incentives, and priorities that people build into systems and institutions. The choices made now will influence who benefits, who bears risk, whose voice is included, and what kind of future becomes normal.
