Last weekend, I swapped Perth’s coastline for Sydney Harbour to join an incredible gathering of AI agency founders and innovators aboard a yacht under the spring sun. The event, hosted by the dynamic Morningside AI team in collaboration with the AAA and AAA Accelerators communities, brought together passionate entrepreneurs and AI enthusiasts from across Australia—and even a few who’d flown in from overseas. With clear skies, calm waters, and a perfect 29°C day, the atmosphere was electric with conversation, laughter, and big ideas.
It was inspiring to connect with AI agency owners of all ages and stages—each with unique stories of how they’re building automation, innovation, and smarter systems into their clients’ businesses. We shared strategies, compared wins, and learned from one another’s experiences navigating this fast-moving industry. For me, it was a powerful reminder that the AI revolution isn’t just about technology—it’s about people, creativity, and collaboration.
This was the third AAA Accelerators member meetup, led by the inspiring Morningside AI team—founders Liam Otley and Josh Brown, along with team members Tara and Nicholay, whose seamless organisation made the day exceptional. Their vision and attention to detail created an unforgettable experience that brought the AI community together in the best possible way—on the water, under the Sydney sun, surrounded by passionate innovators. The day concluded with an exclusive inner-city cocktail party, where conversations continued late into the evening, connections deepened, and ideas flowed freely in a relaxed and welcoming setting. The energy, openness, and generosity of everyone involved made it far more than just a networking event—it felt like the beginning of lasting collaborations and friendships. As I flew home to Perth, my notebook was full, my heart was full, and my excitement for what’s ahead with Emuapple AI was sky-high.
