Kindred Sprits

Kindred Sprits

Have you ever met someone and left with feeling of WOW!! I had just returned from the Grand Ten-tons last fall when I was called to interview for a job.  It was one of those interviews that went well ,but had a long wait on the offer. I had won the job based on my experience and quick unplanned responses. The young lady of whom I thought I had met before had chosen me liking my answers and experience.

Weeks would pass without any communication, then I got the offer and took the job. A week before I was to start out of no where I became deathly ill having to spend five days in the hospital.  When I finally was able to go to work, I thanked the young boss for my interview and for selecting me. But I wanted her to know up front the man she interviewed is not the man that was sitting before her was not the same man .The lack of oxygen to my brain during my illness had affected my cognitive ability. My short term  memory had been impaired the most. I asked for patience. Over the course of last six months I have learned it was not my experience or my answers that got me the job it was my destiny all part of Gods plan to humble me. The young lady I have found is a kindred sprit. A writer with a story of life both lived in tradgey and triumph. A story that needs to told and read . A story of inspiration and forgiveness. Learning her story made me value the life God has given me more and brought me back closer to God. Moreover, through my experience in the last six months I have began praying about what I could do to contribute to Gods plan.

I’m not there yet but at least now my purpose and my talents will soon be working in the service of the lord. Always keep your ears and your heart open you never know when you might meet your kindred sprit.

This experience taught me that every twist and turn in life holds a lesson for us. Sometimes, what feels like a setback or an unexpected challenge is actually a stepping stone toward a greater destiny. The journey of healing and rediscovery reaffirmed my belief that no matter what happens, our lives are all part of a divine plan—each moment designed to bring us closer to our true purpose.

Over time, I learned that humility and perseverance are often the keys that unlock our hidden potential. Embracing my vulnerabilities allowed me to see the beauty in my own imperfections and opened my heart to the possibility of growth. It was a season of transformation, where the pain of past uncertainties gave way to a newfound strength and a deeper connection with my inner self.

Now, as I continue to rebuild and explore all that life has to offer, I find inspiration in the people around me. The kindred spirit of the young interviewer taught me that genuine encounters can lead to profound changes, reminding us to be open to new relationships and experiences. Their shared stories of triumph and tragedy resonate with anyone who has ever faced adversity and emerged stronger.

In a world where we often overlook the seemingly ordinary moments, I invite you to pause and reflect on the unexpected turns in your own journey. Embrace each change, knowing that in the grand tapestry of life, every thread has its purpose, weaving together a story that is uniquely yours and divinely inspired.
