There are only 5 ways you could get new customers

I learned this cool marketing secret that changed the way I looked at selling products and services to people and getting new leads for your business.

I used to struggle so much and when I heard these words from  content creator and influencer Alex Hormozi, it all changed the way and shifted the selling environment I was focusing one.

I learned to shift my selling environment and embrace one-to-many selling as opposed to one-on-one selling

Below are the 5 main ways you could get new customers

1. You reach out to people privately
Eg cold call, cold email, cold DM.
2. You create content that attracts people to you.
3. You run paid ads.
4. You use affiliates and partners.
5. Other customer tells another customer about you( or word of mouth)

I got to admit that I always focused on reaching out to people privately through cold Calling and cold E-mailing and cold DMing. It's slow and tedious

No wonder my sales were always so low I was barely making ends meet.

Hey, just look at it: you can probable get more clients lining up with their credit cards to purchase your product or service if you focused on creating content that attracts people to you.

Running paid ads allows online marketers to split-test the selling experience quickly and get the market to tell you what solution quickly addresses their problems better than the other.

Affiliate and partners are especially useful for product whose marketing and distribution is over a wide geographical area of coverage or even products such as software or apps that are of technical nature and requires training, demonstrations, deliveries etc.

Obviously satisfied customers always tell their friends who tell their friends to get you more customers through word of mouth.

Now, let's dive deeper into each of these five ways to get new customers, focusing on actionable advice and unique insights for each method.

1. Reach out to people privately

Cold calling, emailing, and direct messaging can still be effective, but only if you approach it with a strategic mindset. Personalize your messages and focus on providing value upfront instead of making a sales pitch. Research your prospects to understand their pain points and tailor your outreach accordingly. By doing so, you'll increase the likelihood of turning cold outreach into warm conversations and, eventually, sales.

2. Create content that attracts people to you

Content marketing is an incredibly powerful way to draw in potential customers. Focus on creating high-quality, engaging content that addresses the needs and interests of your target audience. Don't just talk about your product or service; provide valuable insights and resources that help your audience overcome their challenges. By consistently delivering valuable content, you'll position yourself as an authority in your industry and attract a steady stream of interested leads.

3. Run paid ads

Pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and social media ads can help you quickly generate leads and test different marketing strategies. But to make the most of your ad dollars, you need to optimize your campaigns for conversions. Craft compelling ad copy, choose the right targeting options, and create custom landing pages that seamlessly guide users from ad click to purchase. Remember, split-testing is crucial for optimizing your ads and finding the most effective messaging and creative.

4. Use affiliates and partners

Partnering with other businesses and influencers can help you expand your reach and tap into new markets. Identify potential partners with complementary products or services and negotiate an affiliate or referral program that benefits both parties. Be sure to provide your partners with the necessary marketing materials and support to make promoting your product or service as easy as possible. The key to successful partnerships is clear communication and a shared commitment to delivering value to your respective audiences.

5. Leverage word of mouth

Satisfied customers are your most powerful marketing tool. Encourage your customers to share their positive experiences with your product or service by offering incentives for referrals and reviews. Make it easy for them to spread the word by providing shareable content and social media links. And, most importantly, continue to deliver exceptional value and customer support so that your customers remain enthusiastic advocates for your brand.

By embracing these five selling environments and focusing on providing value at every step of the customer journey, you'll be well on your way to transforming your business and seeing those "client lines" form with eager customers awaiting your product or service.
