Heavy Rain in Jharkhand: झारखंड में शुक्रवार को झमाझम बारिश हुई. राजधानी रांची में इतनी बारिश हुई कि राष्ट्रीय आपदा मोचन बल (एनडीआरएफ) की टीम उतारनी पड़ी. शुक्रवार को शाम 5:30 बजे तक 89.8 मिलीमीटर वर्षा हुई. दिन का अधिकतम तापमान 29.9 डिग्री सेंटीग्रेड रिकॉर्ड किया गया.
रांची में खेलगांव के रोड नंबर 5 में दिन में ही भारी जलजमाव हो गया. इसकी वजह से निचले इलाके में रहने वाले लोगों की जान आफत में आ गई. आखिरकार नेशनल डिजास्टर मैनेजमेंट फोर्स की टीम को उतारना पड़ा. खेलगांव के पीछे बस्ती में रहने वाले लोगों को एनडीआरएफ की टीम ने सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला. खासकर उन लोगों को जो बीमार और दिव्यांग हैं.
स्थानीय लोगों ने बताया कि रांची में सुबह से हुई भारी बारिश की वजह से दर्जनों लोग घरों में फंस गए. खेलगांव में कई फीट तक पानी भर गया. बेसमेंट में लोगों ने पार्किंग एरिया बना रखा है. उसमें भी पानी भर गया, जिससे मुश्किलें बढ़ गईं. प्रशासन को इसके बारे में सूचित किया गया. तब जाकर एनडीआरएफ की टीम पहुंची और जलजमाव की वजह से फंसी महिलाओं, बच्चों और अन्य लोगों को सुरक्षित निकाला.
स्थानीय लोगों ने प्रभात खबर (prabhatkhabar.com) को बताया कि जो लोग घर में हैं, वे अपने ही घर में बंधक बन गए हैं. जो लोग ऑफिस के लिए निकल गए, वे घर से ऑफिस नहीं लौट पा रहे हैं, क्योंकि भारी जलजमाव हो गया है. फ्लैट के पीछे कच्चे मकानों में काफी संख्या में लोग रहते हैं, एनडीआरएफ की टीम ने उनका रेस्क्यू किया और उन्हें सुरक्षित जगह पर पहुंचाया. लोगों ने कहा कि पहले बारिश का पानी खेलगांव के पास वाले नदी-नाले में बह जाता था, अब नहीं जाता.
