We used Gateway Custom Painting to stain our deck. Setting up the appointment, getting an estimate, and scheduling the work was easy and straightforward. The reason for -1 star is for the staining job that was initially done. One coat was applied to our deck (which was insufficient) and several of the deck areas that were included in the original contract appeared to have not been stained. After allowing the appropriate time to dry, I contacted the office and began working with Connor to get the deck re-stained to an acceptable condition. From that moment, this is where the 4 stars was earned. Connor went above and beyond to ensure that the quality of the stain job met my expectations. He was very personable, knowledgeable, and communicative. He did an amazing job fixing the previous stain job. I only wish I could have simply gotten this quality of service right out the gate, but I’m happy the company was willing to stand behind their craftsmanship and provide quality work in the end. I’m happy with how our deck looks. :)
